Smart inspection capabilities allow hospitals to automatically manage the supply chain of crucial hardware. In surgical settings, AI-powered visual inspection ensures all necessary equipment is present in the operating room and verifies proper placement of surgical staples for optimal post-operative healing.

For each of the 25+ use cases for this client, Nextgen IT developed unique models trained with specific data relevant to each scenario. This included shipping and packing data for smart inspections of medical cabinets and operational data for surgical tools. Although conceptually straightforward, training these models with precise data required expert knowledge and precision to meet rigorous FDA inspections and approvals.
